Matchmaker, Matchmaker!

We have a very best friend, Kevin.. Well, he's Randy's best friend & my adoptive brother! I have taken a great interest into his relationship well being & I've made it my personal mission to find him LOVE.. but, because I care about him so much, I am very picky! Luckily he is easygoing & knows me well enough to know I can be a little neurotic, and he still loves me! So, in saying this, after many years of contemplating it, and scouting all the single girls I know, I think I've found one! Steffanie is one of Mal's childhood friends, and one of the sweetest christian girls I know.. She's a teacher and the cheerleading & dance coach for our Alma Mater...So, if things worked out for them.. we'd both be coyotes & the boys would be raiders!! I'm telling you, its meant to be! I know it sounds as though I am putting pressure on them to get married and start popping out kids, I am truly not! I know they will atleast end up being friends.. which would suit me just wonderfully! They are two of the sweetest, kindest, and loving and funny people I know!
I put this process into motion New Years Eve and introduced them at Mal's New Years Party, which went well. Both had great things to say of the other. But then, last night, Valentines was the "BIG DATE". We went on a double date to dinner and bowling! We had a BLAST! The great thing was getting a babysitter! Kirsten kept Aniston & we had a real adults only date! This was only the 2nd time in 3 years we've had a babysitter. Of course, by the end of the night I was missing her!

The best moment of the night was when I beat EVERYONE bowling!! This is huge!! My husband is one of the best athletes I know & is good at everything! In fact, he is usually not included in the competition to win when we play anything.. whether its darts, putt-putt, bowling or ping-pong! It is usually and understood that he will win and win BIG! But, last night was different! I WON!! For those that know bowling.. which I do not... here was our final score of our second game!

Yes, your reading it right! I scored a 180! I was on FIRE! Pure luck, but FIRE! When we got home I asked Randy, "Can you believe I scored a 180?".. His response.. "Only because I was there and saw it.." Thanks honey! He will live the entire rest of marriage trying to beat that score.. when he does, I'll blog about it!
