Counting Down the Days.....

I thought I might need to blog, since I'm a little behind. Things aren't much different, just staying busy. Our daddy is VERY busy this time of year. Mommy and Aniston are just busy staying warm and getting ready for Christmas!

Christmas has been so much fun for us so far!!

Aniston is LOVING anything red & green! She can't wait for Santa to get here!

We put up our "Charlie Brown" tree...

Aniston had a blast playing with all the decorations!

Aniston loves wearing her beautiful "Christmas Princess Dress" her Minnie made for her! She got all pretty and I took her picture for our Christmas Card...

One of my biggest daily struggles is getting her to mind and be pleasant doing so... I want you all to know that is is a really great kid, but has her moments! She is constantly making us laugh with her funny personality. Usually we are laughing when we should be spanking!!! Anytime she starts to act sassy or not mind, I tell her that I will call Santa. That all Mommy's and Daddy's have his number, and we are supposed to call him if the kids are being bad! This works.. like a charm. She'll straighten up instantly! Well, since she has been behaving so wonderfully, and so sweet, I called Santa to tell him how wonderful she is. So, I dialed Randy's cell phone from mine.. (we were in the car and I was watching her in the rear view mirror)... The conversation was GREAT!! It went like this...

Mommy: Hi, may I speak to Santa please?

Daddy/Santa: What are you talking about?

Mommy: "Hi, I am Britany, Aniston's Mommy and I wanted to talk to you and let you know that Aniston has been a very good little girl. She has been nice to her friends, and cleans up her toys. She says yes mam and yes sir, and uses her manners...

Aniston: "Mommy tell him I am good because I wipe and flush when I go potty like a big girl.. ok, mommy.. ooooo kaaay!"

Mommy:"Ok Aniston!" "Santa, Aniston also wipes and flushes when she potties!"

Daddy/Santa: .....histarical laughing.....

Mommy: "Santa, I just want to let you know that you can bring her the Pink and Purple Sparkley Barbie Big Girl Bike that she wants from Wal Mart." Also....

Aniston: ... yelling from the backseat... "MOMMY ITS NUMBER THREE!!!" "DONT FORGET TO TELL HIM ITS NUMBER THREE"...

Mommy: "Ok Aniston...quit yelling please".... "Santa, its number three"

Daddy/Santa: "Ooooo, K".. "Tell her I want Milk & Cookies and I'll bring her her big girl bike!"

Mommy: "Aniston, Santa said he'll bring you your bike if you make him milk and cookies."

Aniston: "Oh puleeze.. done deal!" (head tilt, eye roll and wave of the hand.. simultaneously!"

Mommy: (trying not to laugh) "Santa, she said that's a done deal!"

Daddy/Santa: Ok, I'll be there!

Aniston: "Wait, Mommy.. ask him to bring Bubba some bones for his sock"

Mommy: "Santa, will you please bring our Bubba some bones for his stocking"

Aniston: "Mommy, I said sock!"

Mommy: "ANISTON!! Be nice"

Aniston: "Stocking is fine mommy.. Please don't tell Santa I said that"

Mommy: "Ok, I won't"

Aniston: "Good thing... shhew.. that was close!"

Mommy: "Ok Santa, we'll let you go get back to work!"

Daddy/Santa: "Ok... you're a dork... love you"

Mommy: "Love you, bye"

Aniston: "Why did you tell Santa I love you?"

Mommy:.. "ohhh, uhhh, because he's a nice guy"

Aniston: "yeah, I know... I love him too!"

We have made an Advent Calendar and we're counting down the days!! She sat in Santa's lap, "and didn't even cry"! I'll post pictures as soon as I get them!

She looked so gorgeous.. Aunt Mal did her hair!
