And, another view..

Next will be the bedding! Then I'll paint her furniture once it warms up. Two more art projects for stuff to hang on her walls, then we're all done! I'm loving this experience with my girl!
I've been looking online for some cute artwork to hang in her room and never could find anything that matched just right. The fabric were using was piked out by Aniston herself, so she's pretty specific that she wants "those colors" and NOT pink. There's not much put there to buy for a little girl's room that's NOT pink or purple.
I don't know why I didn't think of it before, but I let Aniston paint her own artwork! She was in heaven. I bought some canvases when they were on sale at HL, used paint I had, and some paintbrushes and qtips that I also already had. The only instruction I gave her was to match her fabric (flowers), set up her paints (matching colors), an told her to make 2 matching ones and two other matching ones. Then, I gave her creative control. I only helped her twice when she asked me to help her fix a mistake she made.
Here's what she created..

She's pretty proud!

She's trying to get it dry so she can add some pink!

All done! She's posing with her masterpieces!

I hung them yesterday and she was so excited to see them when she got home from school!

I plan to finish the curtains and hang up some butterflies this weekend!
Stay tuned!
