We have been talking about Aniston's birthday for months!! SERIOUSLY!! I learned this year to not talk about it until the week of.. that way, everyone won't have to hear about her "dirtday potty" all year! A little history... One of the times we were at Brennon & Mal's apartment, Aniston was sitting with Mal and talking about her "dirtday", and how she was going to have a dora cake! As Mal does, she was helping Aniston get excited about her day and mentioned a strawberry dora cake. All because of a Strawberry Dora Doll she loves that Minnie got her....it smells like strawberry... Aniston loved the "Strawberry Dora Cake" idea so much.. she got so excited, and said "Oh Guys!" and hugged Aunt Mal and Mommy. So again, naturally, I couldn't let her down. I spent 2 months searching for a dora cake pan, and found one on ebay. Then I searched around town for a bakery that would make me a cake in it. (we all know I don't bake) Surprisingly, no one in town would bake a dora cake, and come to find out. .only 2 bakeries in town would make a Strawberry Cake!! So, this is what we ended up with...
Aniston's Birthday, Sunday March 15th, was wonderful. The weather was great and we had great company! Mammaw and Pappaw surprised us with a visit and came for the weekend!! They saved the day with her "big gift".. (I'll explain more later!) We started the day off with breakfast at Pioneer. It was great, as always! After that we ran some errands and got ready for Aniston's 1:00 Party! I borrowed a curling iron from CaryBella's mom and did Aniston's hair. After 4 tries and many burned fingers.. she looked precious!
Then came the "dirtday potty".. Aniston was so excited she couldn't stand it.. She was running crazy! We had her party at Jump For Joy again this year... For those of you not familiar.. it is a big warehouse full of inflatable jumping toys and slides... The kids love it and the parent love it that the kids are contained in a room full of balloons!! We had an amazing turnout..my best try at a headcount was 52.. we had 20 kids there!
We have such amazing friends and family! Aniston, and the other kids, ran NON-STOP for an hour and a half!! Aniston got a "boo-boo" on her knuckles and fell of the table and hit the floor.. She was having a rough day, and was worn out! Here is a video of one of her crazy slides! She kept acting crazy and running into the end wall.. we were scared she was going to bust her nose!! Luckily not, but her daredevil ways (that she gets from her daddy) scare me!When it came time to do the cake & candles, she got scared/embarassed and cried, again!! Just like last year!
She loved her strawberry dora cake and so did everyone else.. it was GONE!!!
She was so tired after playing so hard that she could barely walk! She got lots of fun gifts.. and she loved the cards!! She got lots of Barbies, Dolls, Princess Dress Up attire, My Little Ponies, Books, Clothes, pretty stuff for her new big girl room, a play princess camera and a rolling Dora Backpack! (Thanks KK!) 
She also got a "real" pink laptop from Aunt Mal & Uncle Brennon. I had to hide it in the bathroom Sunday night so she wouldn't want to take it to bed with her!! She is obsessed!! She wants to type like Mommy though and not slow down to play the games. Its going to take some practice, but she loves it! Daddy got her a "pink and purple Barbie Princess Jeep".Our Toys R Us was sold out of them when I went to get it so Mammaw & Pappaw had to get one (after lots of calling around) in Amarillo and bring it with them! Thank goodness.. Daddy would have had to drive to Dallas to get one, there is no way he would disappoint his girl!!.. She was sooo tired by the time we got home that she was sleep walking! She rode it for awhile around the backyard but the grass was too high! We are going to take her to the park or a parking lot so she can ride fast!!
Aniston took a good nap after our guests left and slept so hard that night! She had her 3 yr old check up Monday and she is PERFECT! Smart, tall and skinny....and so cute! God blessed me with such a beautiful, wonderful, sweet girl!
