I have realized that I haven't updated you all (whether you like it or not) on our life. So, sit back & listen.....
Randy is busy at UPS. We had a little "scare" that he may be sent to Graham to deliver every day. This is an hour drive each way, on his own time/dime. We were not happy about this, but after lots of praying and asking GOD to help make this decision, we found out that another driver bid on that route, which means, Randy can stay in town and deliver. We were very relieved!! He is also busy working on his race car. Forgive me for the lack of technical knowledge on the subject, but Randy and his daddy are busy rebuilding the motor, transmission, and giving the breaks a "once over". They hope to have it all running next weekend, so hopefully we'll go to the track soon.
I have made a big decision recently to withdraw from school. I have found that I have been so busy lately and putting my school responsibilities on the back burner. I felt like I was not taking it seriously and wasting a lot of time & money. I have also noticed that my desire to be a hospital administrator has decrease a LOT since I started this degree. I have learned so much on the subject, and realized I didn't really like it all.. I still want to finish my Masters Degree, but maybe just not in health care. We'll see! As you all read before, I am coaching a girls Volleyball team, and I love it! If I won the lottery or by some, gift from GOD, had no bills, I would do that all the time. I guess just knowing that you are volunteering to do something, just to help out, and make those girls happy, is amazing! As far as work goes, I am still working nights at the hospital, and working part time for Walgreens Home Care. I like it at the hospital, but I LOVE working for Walgreens!! I truly have a place in my heart for that type of work. I am waiting to be put on day shift at the hospital, which will help out greatly with our schedule/home life. Even though I love the people I work with, and the fact that I'm getting paid while I blog.. I crave the ability to cook dinner for my family every night, and put my baby to bed every night. I am SO blessed and I thank GOD everyday that I have the husband I do, that can be Mr. Mom when I'm not there! The only thing he can't do is fix her hair, so he is AMAZING! I woke up today and he was folding laundry and watching drag racing at the same time!!! It was the PERFECT way to start my day!
Miss Aniston is, well... 3 going on 13... she is just sassy!! Everyone has told me that 3 is worse than 2, and I have to agree! The terrible twos were screaming fits and testing the waters, the threes are just "Whatever, Fine and Ahhhhh!" also, just trying to figure out how to outsmart the wrath of mommy! Something funny.. It takes a lot for Randy to get to the point where he will spank her, and she is so scared of him!!!! I can spank her all day or put her in time out, and be SO much more strict, and she's still sassy with me!! But, if I threaten to tell her daddy to spank her.. she starts whining and stops right away... I don't get it at all!!!! Here is a list of funny things she says... of course hearing her voice is WAY funnier! All "L"s are "Y"s and she is so dramatic, with her big eyes!! I just don't know where she gets it!!!!
1. "Mommy, I am so sick of being sick of you".... she has only said this once!
2. "I don't yike that!"
3. "Oh my goodness!"
4. "Mommy, yisten... yay your awms down.. i not yand on your yeg, I yand on your yap!"
5. "I yuv my fake dora cumbreya" (dora umbrella)
and my favorite...
6. "I yuv you 3,6,7,8!" (which is apparently a LOT to her)
She also loves to sing! She will make up words to songs, and they usually all start out as "Jesus loves me" and end up as "baby Jesus in my heart", with a little vibrato in between. I will get this on video at one point and post it. She does her best singing in the car while I'm driving, so its hard! She is also obsessed with dancing and cheerleaders. I will leave you with a video of her and her best friend, CariBella, dancing at the Rider Dance Showcase. The are so cute, I can't wait to show them when they're older!!
Thanks for listening to this edition, and I'll get back with you after bluebonnet/Easter pictures, coming up!
Love, B
