Landrie is growing...

I am a little behind on posts. Landrie is almost 10 months old, and I never posted about her being 9 months old. oops! Lets see....

At her 9 month old checkup she weighed 17 lbs 7 ounces. Numbers I remember for other reasons. She is in the 25th Percentile in all growth areas (tiny girl). So was big sissy! She is still teething, and has no teeth yet. She has been fussier the last couple of months, but nothing like some babies I'm sure. She is still Miss Smiley and laughs at everything her sissy does. She is MAJORLY spoiled by all of us, which is normal for the youngest, right? I was big time over particular about spoiling Aniston, but with Landrie... I DONT CARE! Most likely, she'll be my last baby and I want her to be my baby for as long as possible. A strategy I know I'll regret some day. I just feel like Aniston grew up way too fast! She is such a big, independent girl now! (more on Ani later)

Landrie still enjoys her bottles, especially the cereal ones. Yes, I admit.. I need to be in C.B.A (Cereal Bottles Anonymous). I give my babies cereal bottles. A hint told to me by one of my kids adoptive grandparents. Both my babies are healthy, happy, sleep through the night at 8 weeks and on, gain weight, look great... I see no problem with it, right!? Little L loves her food too. She still gobbles up the baby foods, especially sweet potatoes, squash, peas, and fruits. She also LOVES the dinner ones (gross right?!). The spaghetti noodles one (gag-o-maggot) and lasagna one (ick) are her faves... the other mixed dinner ones she likes, but they are just too gross to mention. I just turn the label away so I can't read it while I give it to her, hold it far enough so I can't smell it, and shovel away! PUKE!

NEXT TOPIC.... She has very little light brown hair, but it is growing, just slowly. Her eyes are still very colorful, just not A color. They are kind of brownish/blueish/greyish/greenish....and beautifulish! She also has the most awesome dimples like her cute daddy.

She is moving everywhere and very quickly. She scoots, crawls, spins, rolls, and even walks (along furniture). She does the funniest thing where she sits on her bottom and turns in a complete circle, several times, and pretty quickly. I remember big sissy doing the same thing.

Little L is really growing a very colorful personality also. She is FUH-NEE! She will fake laugh, fake cough, scream (loudly), blow bubbles and raspberries, snorts and oinks like a pig, dances to music, "sings" to songs, "snaps" to the beat, says and waves "bye bye", says "no-no" and shakes her head, says DA-DA, MA-MA, SSSSiSSSSiSSS (in a whisper), Nana, BuBuBuBu, and my favorite..... gives kisses. Wet, slobbery, open mouth baby kisses. Sometimes, you even get lucky enough and she'll slip you the tongue! She has "blown kisses" a few times, but we need more practice.

She is a MAJOR daddy's girl, even more than Aniston was. She will actually leave me high and dry for him, consistently. If he comes home, walks in the room, or she hears his voice and he doesn't come to her IMMEDIATELY and give some lovin.. she falls apart. And it's not a spoiled baby cry... it's a "you broke my daddy lovin heart" cry. He tried to go take a shower after work last night and she wasn't having it. She sat outside the door and cried crocodile tears until he turned off the water and delayed his shower taking. I tried bending down to pick her up and she pulled away from me and reached toward the bathroom where he was.. all while crying a pitiful "mmmmmm dadadadada mmmmm"... terrible right!? Needless to say, Randy waited another 30 minutes to take a shower. He snuck off while I had her distracted, then they fell asleep together in our bed. I love every minute of it. He is the most awesome dad! He deserves every single second of daddy lovin!

I know I usually fill a post with fun pictures, but I have very few. I updated my glorious iPhone and during said update, all of my pictures (and contacts, and calendar, and apps) where deleted off of my phone and lost into iPhone heaven!  I had some cute ones too! Here are a few that survived via Facebook....

Here she is sporting sissy's glasses for her Halloween costume!

"Her not peel so good" how sissy said it when she was littler.... daddy makes it better!

Just waiting to see Dr. Mike for her 9 month check up!

I was cleaning out my craft closet... she cleaned out my ribbon/trims box!

Peek-a-boo!

Her way of cruising thru WalMart (or Target, or United) so she can see the action... and sissy!

Our Little L is such a sweet, precious, funny, calm, sleeping, eating, growing, cute, and spoiled little girl! Oh how we love her so!
