We got hit with a winter storm on Monday evening. Luckily, I was thinking and I stocked up on groceries on Monday. I'm usually a "when you need it" shopper so I'm proud of me. The storm hit with wind and sleet on Monday evening. By the time Randy got home it was sleeting and COLD. The sleet turned to ice and stuck instantly. We got about 2" of ice before the ice turned to snow about 2 am. Then, we got about 4-6 inches of snow on top of the ice. Apparently this is the worse situation to be in. The driving conditions are horrible. If this isn't bad enough, it is bitterly cold and nasty wind blowing at 20-30 mph. The wind chills are -3 to -10! Whoa! This doesn't happen here! Aniston is really enjoying the snow! She got her daddy to play out in it for a little while before they just couldn't handle the wind any longer. Landrie and I stayed warm! The best part of this is that we're all stuck in the house together. UPS was grounded so no work for Daddy. I couldn't go to the Doctor to get released to work, so I'm off until that happens. We're enjoying this time cuddled up on the couch watching TV and movies, and eating warm food!

Aniston all bundled up to go out in the snow. She had on flannel jommies, jeans, 2 pairs of socks, boots, a hoodie, snow cap and her snow coat. Oh, and 2 pairs of gloves. I know I over did it, but I couldn't take a chance on her getting sick! She could barely walk and move her arms and head. She was like a statue. HA!
