Girls Gone Grease

Aniston has been asking since last Halloween to be a "poodle girl". She saw a picture of a girl dressed up in a poodle skirt and had the idea. She has never wavered, so luckily it was a good idea and Mommy didn't have to try and change her mind. Because I am so ridiculously anal and obsessive about things being matchy matchy, I went all out! And, because I have the most awesome "aunt" who is actually my cousin, Gillis, that can sew anything under the sun, she worked her magic!

Aniston was very specific about her poodle skirt. She wanted it JUST like the picture, even down to the poodles leash and the girls hair scarf! I couldn't be more pleased at how awesome it turned out!

I also found some glasses online and actually found some saddle shoes at Payless! I'm even thinking I'll use the girls costumes to spearhead the theme for Aniston's birthday party! Think 50s Sockhop Roller-skating party!! Baby sister needed to match the theme so I came up with the idea to make her a "Pink Lady"! Again, Gillis worked her magic and made the most awesome pink satin jacket for her, that fit like... Well, like it was made for her! And, unlike most baby Halloween costumes, it was comfortable and he never messed with it! Ashley and I took the kids to Burkburnett to Gordon Photography to have their pictures taken. They do a neat program where they donate canned food you bring to charity and you get prints for free. Love that! I almost ruined the night because I left Landrie's jacket at home.. 20 minutes away, but luckily my boss and friend, Tammy came to my rescue! She went by my filthy messy house and found the jacket and brought it to me I was able to run by and have L's picture taken real fast before they closed! Love, love, love how they turned out!

Here are some pictures!

And here are two of my favorite boys, Douglas and Lachlan!

I'll post trick or treating pictures in another post... Here she is modeling on our front porch!
