Third Day

I'm a little behind on blogging, so I'll take this "down time" at work to get caught up!

We (Mom, Bob, Mal, Brennon, Randy and I) were so blessed to have the opportunity to see Third Day in concert on October 7th.. (told you I was behind)! They were amazing.. and we were not disappointed! Mal, Mom and I had seen them before in OKC a few years back, but it was totally different. It was a small acoustic concert at a church. This was cool! And, thanks to Brennon, we had great seats! We were in the front row of the first little section above the floor.. about 4 feet up. Perfect for seeing over everyone's heads. Except for this Giant Man that stood RIGHT in front of me and my camera... this Giant Man turned out to be John Rivers, the DJ from KLOVE. Oops...

The tour is The Move Tour and it is Third Day, Peter Furler and Trevor Morgan. All are fabulous!

Loved every minute of it. Loved seeing and standing next to my sister and husband while we worship. Love it completely.

Here are some great pictures we (Brennon and I) took...

This is Peter Furlur. He is also known as the lead singer of Newsboys. He was great! Love his accent!

 Here is our group...
 Me and my hubs..
 Mal & Brennon
 Mom and Bob
 Us girls!

And now, Third Day!

One of the Third Day guitarists.

and another...

the Drummer... duh!

The awesome Pianist... also a Texan!

And, THE Mac Powell of Third Day. Love him even more now after seeing his awesome personality!

Ok, I know the quality of this picture is not very good, but I had to include it. Anytime he could see that someone was taking his picture he would assume this position. Mal got his attention and he did it to us (not this picture) but when he smiled at us... Mal was jumping up and down so frantically that my camera could not focus and I missed the picture. Bahahaha!

They are all such amazing musicians, and worship leaders! So awesome!

Trevor Morgan sang with Third Day at the end, which I'm so glad because Randy and I missed him opening. He was great!

Such a cool backdrop they had.. Love this picture with the hand raised in worship!

And, I was lucky enough to spot these crazy girls walking by! This is Savanna.. she's one of my volleyball players and her mom Sara is one of my BFFs. Love them!
 Me and Sara...

Remember the Giant Camera blocking man I spoke about.. well, this is him. AKA John Rivers on KLOVE. Mom and Bob spoke to him as he was leaving.

This was at the end, after the encore.

Third Day!

Once it was over and they started turning on the lights, I jumped over the wall (after I asked the security guard permission) and ran (as fast as I could on a wet floor in TOMs) to try and get a picture up close... this was the one and only picture I could get before he walked off.

We had such a great time! If you don't have their new cd.. get it! So great!
