Christmas

We had a fabulous Christmas this year! Of course we had a wonderful time all sitting around staring at Landrie! This year was very different from past years because we didn't get to see any of our family like usual. As you all know, Landrie was born on Monday December 20th and we came home on Tuesday. Luckily we had all of our shopping finished before, so we didn't have to worry about that. Mom was here from the 17th on, so that was great. She was so much help!

Our Christmas was very low key and simple. We stayed at home, together for the most part. On Christmas Eve, Randy and Aniston went to his brother's house for the Schmidt family Christmas. Landrie and I stayed home and slept.

Here are some pictures from their evening.

Once they got home we set out cookies for Santa and went to bed. Well, everyone but Randy and Landrie went to bed. They stayed up and waited for Santa. We had to wake Aniston up Christmas morning about 9 to see what Santa left. I was under strict order to record it for Mal and Brennon to see, which I did.. or atleast thought I did. It was my first time to use the Flip recorder and I didn't push the "record" button.. so, no video. We did get lots of pictures. Santa left Aniston a scooter (which was a hit!) and a "real" baby stroller and crib and a new baby doll. She loves both, and is riding her scooter constantly! She also got a lot of candy, makeup, and petshop toys in her stocking. Mommy and Daddy got her a Leapfrog Tag Reader and some books, a Barbie horse, some games (Trouble and Connect Four), and a "real" ballerina outfit. She also got the Unicorn Pillow Pet, a tent and some Barbies and an art set with a table from Nana, Bob, Mal and Brennon. We had  a yummy tenderloin dinner on Christmas evening, and my banana pudding for dessert.

Landrie got some clothes and baby toys. Next year will be a lot more fun for her!

Here are some pictures.
