Today, I am thankful for Misty.
She is Aniston's daycare provider/teacher, and also my good friend. I was so nervous to take Aniston anywhere when she was a baby, and I was lucky enough to have 8 months at home with her. From the first day of taking her to Misty, I've never regretted the situation or felt uneasy. Quite the opposite. I love knowing that my child is with someone who will help me raise her. Someone who will teach her and love her completely. Someone who will also help me instill a love for God, teach her to pray, teach her to love, teach her to care, and teach her beauty. Not beauty on skin.. beauty in life. I truly believe that Aniston is a sweet and loving, praying, and gifted child because of Misty's influence.
As parents, we spend so much time loving and disciplining, and we try to instill these things in her life everyday. I am so relieved in knowing that we don't have to be the ONLY influence for her. I can relax knowing that I don't have to be the perfect, all knowing and all teaching parent, because Misty will help me fill in the missing pieces. It is also so calming and comforting to know that when I leave her there, she is safe. She is in good hands, and I can rest easy.. sometimes literally.
I could go on and on about how much Misty means to me as Aniston's mom. Another aspect is Aniston. Misty means the world to Aniston. Whenever she gets a new outfit, she wants to wear it to school to show Misty and her friends. Every time we go to WalMart and she sees the fresh flowers, she wants to buy Misty flowers. She loves her, a lot.
We are so blessed to have such a wonderful, loving, Christian woman in our lives.
