November 19th

Today is just beginning, but I'm already thankful for something... TOOLS! I'm thankful for the hammer, nail gun, staple gun, screwdriver, electric drill, and my favorite.. the butter knife. I know, I know.. not your typical tool, but I use it quite frequently! I'm also thankful for the knowledge my dad instilled in me of how to use these tools. Although, I might add.. pretty sure he didn't carry a butter knife in his tool belt!

Today, I'm trying to get the nursery put together as much as I can by myself. I guess being married has made me lazy and reliant on my hubs to do stuff for me.. but, not today! So far, I've ventured into the garage and found a nail and hammer. In my hubs very organized tool section.. i'm impressed, i must add! I hung a bow holder...

Dismantled a memory board.. with lots of help!

Notice my butter knife and Aniston's tool of choice.. the spoon!

I'm also making a rug, which will go in the nursery. I've used scissors, and a screwdriver to poke the fabric through the holes, and tweezers to grab the fabric. UGH! It has turned out to be quite the "booger bear". I've quit 3 times, but I keep going back because I know it will be so cute! It will just be done when she's in high school and after I've spent $1000 on about 42 yards of fabric!
Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating, just a little.. are you shocked?
