November 28th

Today, I am thankful for potluck Sunday! I am so blessed to work with sweet people that can cook and love to eat! We started potluck Sunday on out block about a year ago! We change up the them every week, so we can keep things interesting! We've made Italian food, mexican food, salads, sandwiches, and breakfast. That's my favorite! We bring a griddle and make fresh pancakes, bacon, eggs, and French toast! We'll bring biscuits & gravy, and fruit salad. Last time we made breakfast burritos with eggs, hash browns, sausage, and cheese! YUM!

Tonight, we had Italian food night! I was in charge of making the spaghetti. I got the stuff from the grocery store, browned the meat and mixed up the sauce. It cooked all day in the crockpot, and smelled so good! We were on our way to work and had a catastrophe... It spilled in the floor of Randy's truck. Between him not listening to me about where to sit it, and him listening me to turn quickly to go to Sonic.. The crockpot shifted and spilled half of it in the floor! I was so sad because I knew we wouldn't have enough to eat, and Randy was so sad because it trashed his truck! sooo... We pulled over into the Uhaul parking lot and he scooped sauce into the dirt, we made our way to sonic. After I got my coke and got to work, he went home and cleaned sauce out of his amp and scrubbed the carpet as good as he can... Poor guy!

Anywho.. We ate well, and it was delish! I have one more potluck Sunday left before my maternity leave... I'll miss it! I'll pig out and eat as much as I can on that one.. Because once Im back, it's diet time! Ha ha.. Except Sunday potluck! It's how I reward myself, or atleast that's what I'll tell myself!
